The countdown is on for Paris Hilton. The 26-year-old celebrity heiress has until 11:59 p.m. June 5 to report to California's Century Regional Detention Facility.

A judge sentenced Hilton to 45 days behind bars for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case; however, Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says she will actually spend about 23 days in confinement. She may choose to appear early or at odd hours to escape media attention.

Located in the Los Angeles suburb of Lynwood, the 13-year-old facility has exclusively housed female inmates since March 2006.

Whitmore says Hilton will be housed in a "special needs" wing, where she may not have a cellmate. She will take her meals in the cell, while being allowed outside for at least an hour daily to shower, watch TV, participate in outdoor recreation, or talk on the telephone. She will not, however, be allowed the use of a cell phone or texting device.

She'll also have to leave any designer clothes at the front desk - an orange jumpsuit is standard-issue garb. Whitmore said Hilton will receive no special treatment during her confinement.
