Paris Hilton sent back to jail in hysterics; sheriff defends decision to turn her loose

LOS ANGELES (AP) - She was taken handcuffed and crying from her home. She was escorted into court disheveled, without makeup, hair askew and face red with tears.

Crying out for her mother when she was ordered back to jail, Paris Hilton's cool, glamorous image evaporated Friday as she gave the impression of a little girl lost in a merciless legal system.

'It's not right!' shouted the weeping Hilton. 'Mom!' she called out to Kathy Hilton, who also was in tears.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress tried to move toward her parents but was firmly steered away by two sheriff's deputies, who held her by each arm and hustled her from the courtroom.

Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer was apparently unmoved by the pleas of Hilton's three lawyers to send her back to home confinement due to an unspecified medical condition. He ordered Hilton returned to a Los Angeles County jail to serve out the remainder of her 45-day sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

Paris you are so strong and brave. I know you love your family very much and they will see you through this tough time. There are people who will always say bad things about you because they don't have what you have. That's their problem, not yours. You stay strong and keep working hard on being a successful actress, model, singer and designer!! Remember, Revenge is the greatest motivator!!

it's so disheartening to see the pics of ms paris crying as she was driven away in a police van. The Authority is so senseless it only sees few mistakes committed by people. They never seem to realise what great things the celebrities like paris hilton can do for the nation. Why don't they go out and arrest the warmongers pacing up & down the corridors of white house and the pentagon?

jail is hard but it does make every person has to go that alot better for it
dont worry about what people are saying
people will always have something bad to say and that is thier bad
i hope the best for you and i know jail is a horrible place to be
