Paris Hilton is planning a very special trip -- not to Vegas or the south of France, but to one of the poorest places on the planet: Rwanda, where just over a decade ago, the Hutu-led military killed 800,000 Tutsis.

Paris Hilton plans to visit Rwanda this November to raise awareness about child poverty. The service trip comes as part of Paris' image makeover following her brief stint in jail.

"The Simple Life" star told E! Online: "I'll be going in November, after I get back from filming my movie. There's so much need in that area, and I feel like if I go, it will bring more attention to what people can do to help."

Paris' Rwanda trip will be one of many service trips around the world. "I want to visit more countries where poverty and children's issues are a big concern," Hilton said. "I know there's a lot of good I can do just by getting involved and bringing attention to these issues."

And that is not all from the new altruistic Paris. The socialite said she plans to make her brand new Beverly Hills home more "green friendly." "I just bought the house and haven't been able to work on it yet," Paris Hilton, 26, informed E! Online. "But I intend to."

The socialite is currently in Toronto filming the horror flick "Repo! The Genetic Opera" from the director of the "Saw" films. "Repo!" takes place in the not-too-distant future, where an organ failure epidemic forces mankind to purchase internal parts through credit. Failure to pay for the expensive parts brings a visit from the wicked repo men.

Considered by some to be a true marketing genius, and others a media hog, Paris Hilton continues to stir up a scene wherever she lands.

Most recently, a throng of screaming fans and press converged in the heart of Montreal on Sunday night to get their fill of the heiress in action.

"I love Montreal,” Hilton told the crowd as she left her hotel for a night on the town, which consisted of stops at dinner spot Ora, and the ever-hip Tribe Hyperclub.

AP reports tell of the scene: “Shouts of ‘Paris, I love you!’ could be heard from a crowd of onlookers who gathered in front of the St. James Hotel. A black SUV with bodyguards transported Hilton about 100 meters to the club, where dozens of fans had waited hours for her arrival.”

Well, if this doesn’t surprise the heck out of you, nothing will!  In her quest for a mate,  Paris Hilton didn’t have to look any further than her local Pizza Hut.



That’s right, the heiress has fallen in love with a pizza delivery guy.  Alex Vaggo made the acquaintance of the heiress while the two were partying at the same Vegas nightclub.

All in all, it’s a pretty fortunate series of events for Vaggo.  According to one of his friends, “He decided to fly to LA for a holiday and spent much of the summer working as a pizza delivery boy to raise extra money. We were amazed to see how quickly he hooked up with Paris.”

But Alex’s pals don’t have much hope for the relationship long term.  They said, “He’s quite a shy, laid-back kind of guy. Paris will probably eat him alive.”

Paris Hilton has a new boyfriend after falling for a Swedish tourist to Los Angeles.

The "Simple Life" star, whose past lovers have included heirs to shipping fortunes, fellow socialites and celebrities, is now dating Alex Vaggo.

A source tells In Touch Weekly magazine, "He's travelling through town, and one of Paris' friends met him and introduced them. He's really shy.

"Alex is obviously smitten with Paris and is clearly falling for her."

Hilton reportedly took her new man, 20, with her to a photo shoot on September 16.

The insider adds, "Paris thinks he's really sweet and gorgeous." The news comes a week after Hilton denied rumors she was dating "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier.

Fresh from unveiling his contempt for Courtney Love, Dave Grohl has now criticized party girl Paris Hilton, labelling her "a total raging, disgusting, rich, lazy party slut."

The Foo Fighters frontman reportedly also told London's The Sun newspaper: "Paris is f--king lame."

Grohl and Hilton reportedly fell out after meeting in a restaurant years ago, when the singer claims the millionaire heiress put on "the full princess attitude with the nose in the air."

Consequently, he concluded: "I pray that my daughter will not turn out like her."
