Paris Hilton is glad that The Simple Life has been cancelled, according to Reality TV World.

“It’s been a great five years and we had so much fun,” Hilton told The Insider on Monday while attending the premiere of Rush Hour 3. “I’m happy to end it at that.”

Now, Paris can concentrate on her much-more-complicated real life! Wonder if she’ll be giving a party for on-again/off-again pal Nicole Richie’s release from jail!

Parlux will launch a new Paris Hilton fragrance in October 2007 in time for the holiday season. The new fragrance will be named Can Can Paris Hilton.

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton doesn't need to worry about family patriarch and precious grandad Barron Hilton cutting her out of his will.

A story published in the UK said the ex-con party princess was in jeopardy of losing her mega-inheritance because sullying the family reputation, saying that grandpa was cutting her out of the will. TMZ has confirmed that's baloney.

After the socialite was sprung from the klink, she spent a few days at grandpa Hilton's family compound in Beverly Hills. It's rumored that Paris stands to inherit somewhere in the neighborhood of $30 million.

Paris Hilton is $60 million out of pocket after her billionaire grandfather - appalled by her jail term for drink-driving offenses - reportedly axed her inheritance.

Family patriarch Barron Hilton was already embarrassed by his granddaughter’s wild behavior - notably when her home sex video was leaked on the internet.

But the 79-year-old considered her 23-day sentence last month the last straw, a Hilton biographer says. “He was, and is, extremely embarrassed by how the Hilton name has been sullied by Paris,” says Jerry Oppenheimer, who wrote a biography of the clan called House Of Hilton. “He now doesn’t want to leave unearned wealth to his family.”

Hilton senior, the only member of the family left with a sizeable stake in the huge hotel chain, has let it be known that he intends to donate to charity the $2.4bn he will gain from this month’s sale of the company to private equity firm Blackstone. The money will go to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the charity set up in the name of the founder of the family business.

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are out of a job after news their hit reality show The Simple Life has been axed. The wealthy socialites proved a huge hit trying their hand at manual labor on the program - which spawned five series - but The Insider reports network E! has dropped the show from next year's line-up.

Rumors of an imminent end began when Fox dropped the series in 2005 and Hilton and Richie became embroiled in a mystery feud.

Paris Hilton is moving! 
Paris has put her Hollywood Hills home on the market for a massive $4.25 million.

Paris isn't moving to make things easier on her neighbors.  The Simple Life star wants a home in a gated community or one with a longer driveway.

The house is about 3,000 square feet and Paris bought the home back in 2004 for about $2.9 million.  Her family's real estate firm will take care of selling it for her.

NICOLE Richie will spend four days in jail after pleading guilty in a Los Angeles court yesterday to driving under the influence of drugs.

The reality TV star, who has not yet commented on reports she is pregnant, was also fined $2400 by a judge who said she was lucky no one was killed when she drove the wrong way on a freeway.

Richie, the adopted daughter of 1980s pop star Lionel Richie, was sombre as Superior Court Commissioner Steven Lubell lectured her in front of a court full of media.

"You are very lucky no one was hurt or killed as the result of this incident," he said.

"You need to understand that driving under the influence is extremely dangerous."
