Hotel heiress Paris Hilton has denied reports that she has charged huge amount for an appearance at nightspots in Las Vegas for the New Year’s Eve bash, saying that the amount is inaccurate.

According to a newspaper, the 26-year-old and her sister Nicky charged the whopping sum for a multiple-day New Year’s party.

The source added that only the Hilton sisters have the guts to charge the amount. “Paris and Nicky are shopping their partying ways to Vegas. Paris will party at a few spots and Nicky will bless the lucky host with a fashion show and model herself,” the source was quoted, as saying.

Paris’ spokesperson Mike Sitrick said that the $500,000 amount reported wasn’t accurate.

Socialite PARIS HILTON has laughed off reports she is dating ENTOURAGE heart-throb ADRIAN GRENIER, insisting they are just pals. The hotel heiress has been romantically linked to a string of famous men this year (07), including James Blunt, Josh Henderson, Cisco Adler and NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne. After Hilton and Grenier were spotted frolicking on a beach in Malibu, California, last week (ends10Aug07), gossips began speculating they were dating. However, Hilton's rep says, "They are just friends. There's nothing between them."

PARIS Hilton is reportedly in talks to appear in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother.

A Channel 4 source says: “Paris is keen to do the show because she wants to show people the real her.

"She wants to show the British public that there is more to her life than shopping and partying and she would certainly make an interesting housemate. It all depends on whether we can afford her."

Paris Hilton is delighted Nicole Richie is pregnant and predicts her pal will be "the best mom ever."

The hotel heiress says she was ecstatic to hear her former "Simple Life" co-star is expecting her first child with Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden and has high hopes for the family's future.

She tells People.com, "She's really happy. I just got off the phone with her. She's so excited.

"(Nicole and Joel) are really in love. I know she's going to be the best mom ever."

Kathy Hilton has spoken out about her daughter’s jail stint – and revealed how Paris developed a rash from having to sleep in “sandpaper” bed sheets during her 23 day stay.

Kathy spoke of how difficult it was to see her daughter's suffering during jail visits.

Kathy tells People magazine: "One of the hardest things was seeing the rashes on her arms and face from the thin sheets."

Luckily for Paris, mum Kathy lovingly prepared a comfortable haven in which her daughter could recover from the trauma of having to make do with cheap, regulation bed linen.

Kathy says: "She had been in jail, obviously with the very thin sheets and one pillow and one little thin blanket. That's how inmates get rashes. It feels like sandpaper.

"So I made her a bed up in what used to be the baby nursery for the grandchildren at Paris' grandfather's house. I had fresh, really soft towels, and really soft sheets and one of those really soft, cuddly blankets called 'my blankey,' and nice soft pillowcases.

"She went in, and she looked at the towels and the water by her bedside. I wanted to make her feel really welcome.

"And we went downstairs and made a sandwich. And she ran outside with her doggie. And she ran, and she was screaming, 'Oh, this feels so good. I feel so lucky.' "
